53-year old Kevin Mcglynn has been arrested for stalking and, hand-delivering threatening letters to 26-year old pop singer Rihanna.

Mcglynn, a homeless man living on the streets on New York, was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court last Friday. He is currently being held without bail.

The stalker was seen in surveillance videos delivering letters to Rihanna's apartment in Lafayette St., Soho. One of Rihanna's assistants received the notes.

Mcglynn showed up in front of the singer's New York apartment three times. The first two times were on July 8, when he showed up at 6:30 am and then again at midnight.

The third occasion happened during the day on July 11.

Aside from the letters dropped off in her home, Mcglynn also sent four more letters to the singer's residence in California.

Court records show that McGlynn seemed angry at Rihanna and referred to her as a "b*tch", making threats to "bum (rush) in her apartment."

According to Assistant District Attorney James Vinocur, "The nature of these letters [is] confusing. They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist."

Mcglynn showed signs of mental distress in court, claiming that Rihanna, Kanye West and Jay-Z had ripped off his own material. He later on accused the judge that he was lying when the judge pointed out that Mcglynn was not capable of defending himself.

Mcglynn has a long rap sheet, consisting of at least 12 arrests. Four of those arrests involve trespassing.

Rihanna is currently renting out her $14.6 million New York apartment.

This incident follows a long list of celebrity stalking cases just this past year. Last month, a man was charged with felony burglary, stalking and gun possession after being spotted by a neighbor on actress Sandra Bullock's property.
