Serie A club Juventus will be playing on the Champions League Finals after 12 years after the decisive 1-1 draw against powerhouse Real Madrid. The Italian club secured their place at the finals after besting their opponent, 3-2 on aggregate.
Alvaro Morata, the former Real Madrid player and Madrid's academy progeny was the one who sealed the deal for Juventus after scoring on the 57th minute to put the match on a deadlock.

The last time Juventus appeared on a Champions League finals was in 2003, when they were beaten by fellow Serie A club AC Milan on penalties. Milan was then managed by current Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Both Ancelotti and Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri made some bold changes in their respective squads. Ancelotti brought back striker Karim Benzema on his starting 11 while Allegri started Paul Pogba despite the player's questionable fitness, according to The Telegraph.
Ancelotti's decision to start Benzema paid off during the early minutes of the match as the Frenchman nearly scored a goal in the sixth minute. However, it was Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who scored the opening goal in the 23rd minute of the match to put his team ahead of the competition.
The first-half ended 1-0 with Madrid ahead. Learning from their shortcomings in the first half, Juventus started the second half a lot better capitalizing on several errors made by Madrid on their own half. It was in the 57th minute when Sergio Ramos conceded a free-kick that sealed the fate for both teams.
Morata scored the goal after picking up a loose ball coming from a header by Pogba. Despite his teammate's jubilation, Morata, who once played for Madrid, choose not to celebrate his goal, according to Bleacher Report.
Juventus will be facing Spanish club FC Barcelona in the Champions League Finals to be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on June 6, according to Sky Sports.
