The Grizzlies on the other hand struggled to keep their offense, averaging only 39.8 percent on the field and 26.7% in the three-point territory. The team's offense greatly suffered due to the absence of Tony Allen who is suffering a left hamstring injury.
Grizzlies center Marc Gasol said in an interview, "Once a guy doesn't play you don't look for another guy to do what Tony Allen does, because Tony Allen has a special talent. If you bring somebody else that has different talent that can bring something different to the party."
