In light of U.S. President Barrack Obama's refusal to give support to China's allies, the Asian country has offered Jordan missile-firing drones to help fight the ISIS army. According to Rep. Duncan Hunter, he is only now aware of China's presence in Jordan, discussing a possible partnership on maintenance and sale of unmanned weapon such as the drones. Previous efforts have been made by the congressman to convince Obama administration to sell a Predator unmanned surveillance aircraft to an important ally, Jordan, but to no avail. This lead to Jordan's move to seek the help of China in helping them acquire such weapons.

Jordan has been planning to buy an MQ-1 Predator and has asked the U.S. for help regarding the inquiry. The country is also known to be in the same path as the United States in fighting the ISIS, even flying US warplanes, in hopes of finding Islamic State targets and the militant's move towards another possible attack. Recently, Jordan's F-16 pilot was captured by the IS group and was burned alive, making it the last straw for the country to make a move and acquire drones that can help them monitor the militant groups.

Rep. Hunter's concern is that China will eventually find a way to market their technology, ahead of the United States. He even added, "Allowing Jordan to obtain Chinese assets simply due to delays in the US considerations and process is a big mistake." Defense Secretary Ashton Carter has already confirmed to the congress the U.S. government's consideration, in the possible sale of the Predators to Jordan soon.

The Predator is one of the best surveillance, unmanned weapons of the United States, and is being currently used to monitor and find ISIL troops that terrorize the Iraqi community. Rep. Hunter is confident enough that they can still get Jordan's approval on the sale of weapons once the U.S. government decides to sell to Jordan.
