Fans of LeBron James who have a nose for news and good writing skills might want to apply with the Cleveland Plain Dealer for their latest vacancy.

The Northeast Ohio Media Group, which owns the Plain Dealer among other publications, has a new opening in their newspaper arm: a sports beat that covers everything about "The King."

The so-called LeBron James beat pretty much covers everything the King does from his

"sports performance, business dealings and community leadership."

The candidate should be able to write, create videos and post news in various forms at social media networks, according to the posting. The successful candidate will also participate in broadcasts discussing James and will be "working closely with reporters assigned to cover the Cavaliers and the NBA."

Since James is "often inaccessible," the immediate challenge for the beat reporter is to have in-depth sources within his subject's inner circle.

The reporter will have the distinction of being known as the "expert on LeBron James and what he means to Ohio."

Aside from reporting on the road, the reporter is expected to travel to various states and cities within the country covering James' National Basketball Association (NBA) games.

Northeast Ohio Media Group owns Cleveland.com, the Cleveland Plain Dealer and a number of Ohio newspapers. They have recently advertised for a sports reporter saying that they are in need of an experienced writer who has a keen eye for news and investigative reporting that will cover all aspects of the basketball star James' activities.

James recently returned to the Cavs citing that he is returning to a part of the country where he grew up and this is where he truly believes to be home.

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) James was selected first-overall by Cleveland in the 2003 NBA Draft and have played with the franchise for seven seasons before moving to the Miami Heat where he won two NBA Championships.
