'The Simpsons' creator, Matt Groening, crashed the 'Family Guy' Panel. He then proceeded to ask three questions including the panel's plans regarding the much anticipated episode.

The questions from Matt Groening are as follows" (1) Do you have any advice for a young, struggling animator? (2) What is Matt Groening really like? (3) Can you "kiss my ass" a little bit more please?

Fans were accustomed to see such stunt between legendary producers and Groening's unexpected appearance made it clear that the crossover was made possible with his approval.

More details for the crossover episode were revealed. The episode will be aired later this year and it will be an hour-long premiere for the 13th season of 'Family Guy'.

In the clip showed at Comic-Con, Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson found something in common: donuts. But then they were seen disagreeing over their preferred beers. Aside from that, Bart Simpson and Stewie Griffin were shown bonding while making prank calls.

'The Simpsons' and 'Family Guy' has had some sort of competition way back before but with the crossover episode, fans are thinking that the feud might have softened up somewhere along the line.

Way back in 2012, 'The Simpsons' Dan Castellaneta had an audio cameo in an episode of 'Family Guy' and in return, the creator of 'Family Guy' Seth MacFarlane starred in one of the episodes of 'The Simpsons' last year.

There have been no announcements regarding the air date of the crossover episode so fans should just keep their eyes open for any further news on this.
