American actress and singer Hilary Duff revealed in an interview that she has been using Tinder to find suitable bachelors. In a radio station interview, Duff said, "I'm talking to probably about nine guys right now," wherein she also adds that there is nothing fancy about her Tinder profile, just the basic stuff.

Duff is busy promoting her fifth album titled - "Breath In. Breath Out." Last Thursday, a new video of Duff's first single "Sparks" has been released, where the updated video shows her interview and two of her dates obtained through Tinder and is said that the date consisted of go-kart rides and bowling as well as hanging out with her friends.
Duff is just one of the many Hollywood celebrities that are making use of various online services to find dates as fellow celebrity and television host Andy Cohen also make use of Tinder, which he considers as a singles bar for the modern age. Meanwhile, Singer Adele made use of eHarmony to look for a suitable match while Charlie Sheen, who is still undergoing divorce proceedings, is already on MillionaireMatch.com.
It is said that celebrities looking for companionship online are quickly making a trend although some have criticized the growing practice. The Agency's, which is a matchmaking service, founder and owner Toni Berquist believes that it is not a good idea for celebrities to find dates through online services such as Tinder. She said that celebrities should have potential dates screened by matchmakers herself or people they trust. Fellow matchmaker Claire Wexler says that celebrities run the risk of meeting date partners that may turn out to be unscrupulous.
In contrast, Millionaire Matchmaker TV host Patti Stranger thinks that it is a good idea for celebrities to meet other non-celebrity people. Miss Stranger herself turns to online dating when her hectic schedule could not let her meet potential dates face to face. She cautions other celebrities however to prepare themselves in meeting strangers for dates.
