Liberia is closing its borders except for a few entry spots that will serve as test centers to keep the deadly Ebola virus from spreading.
In an interview with Reuters, Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf ensures all those affected that the government is doing everything its power to contain the virus by closing the country's borders save for few selected spots.

"This includes inspecting flight passengers both in and out of Liberia," Sirleaf told Reuters.
Efforts to fight the Ebola viruse remain futile as the disease continues to spread. The Ebola outbreak in Liberia is so far the worst in the virus' history ever recorded. Reports said that the virus can kill up to 90 percent of those it infected, but recent findings showed that the number has decreased to 60 percent.
People who contract the virus suffer from vomiting, diarrhea and both external and internal bleedings. The virus is extremely physically contagious that those suffering from it are isolated from the rest of the community.
With no known cure, the virus has taken at 660 lives in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
A flight traveler from Liberia died in a Nigerian hospital after getting off a plane at Lagos, the country's capital. The report spurred fear that the virus might spread to the three countries that are already affected.
According to Reuters, two American aid workers, Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol have contracted the virus and tested positive of the disease
Meanwhile, Liberian doctor Samuel Brisbane died after he got infected with the virus.
The Liberian government has issued a law prohibiting public gathering in hopes to prevent the transfer and spread of the virus.
The government said that the Ebola outbreak is not only a health issue, but a real economic problem to poor Liberians.
President Sirleaf said in a statement: "Ebola is affecting our lives in many ways. It has personal, economic and social consequences, which can be hard for us to uplift," she said.
