After Warner Bros. released a new poster and high-resolution stills of the new installment to the 'Mad Max' franchise 'Fury Road', director George Miller is said to have made a 105-minute chase scene through the rough wastelands as its center attraction.

'Mad Max: Fury Road' features post-apocalyptic hero Max Rockatansky as its lead, battling criminals in the Australian outback. The character used to be played by Mel Gibson from 1979 to its last installment in the 1980s.
The film, 15 years in the making, had been scrapped after the 9/11 terror attack in the US and by the time that Miller considered the movie again, the actor who previously played the character is already considered past the age that the director wanted Mad Max to be.
For the fourth installment, Mad Max will be played by Tom Hardy whom the director commended for embodying the qualities he saw in Mel Gibson during the first installments of the film.
He will be playing the role alongside Charlize Theron who will be playing Imperator Furiosa who will lead a group of other female actresses in what used to be a male-dominated film.
Though the plot of the new 'Mad Max' installment is still vague, an exclusive short clip from the movie was shown during the 2014 Comic Con in San Diego last July 26. The teaser video showcased Mad Max and Nux, played by Nicholas Hoult, in action.
The first three movies under the 'Mad Max' franchise concentrated on the struggle and war for resources and fuel in the badlands which was the content of conversation then. Miller noted that the same issues remain relevant.
"I'm beginning to realize that's the nature of the world and humankind, and we're always fighting these kind of struggles, these tensions," Miller reportedly stated.
In the plot, the lone hero Mad Max would find himself caught in the problems of the people living in the badlands known as 'Fury Road'.
The action-packed film is due for the theatres on May 15, 2015.
