A lot of people dread turning the big 4-0, but for Drew Barrymore who has two daughters with actor husband Will Kopelman, her 40th birthday could not have been a happier occasion. The couple is parents to Olive, 2, and Frankie, 1.
The "50 First Dates" star made an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and shared that her recent birthday was the best because it's the first time that she truly felt her age.

Barrymore gushed and said, "It's the first time in my life when my age has met with where my life is and it's perfect. I love being 40."
The Golden Globe winner, who wore a blue and white striped dress with a huge rose-colored belt cinched around the waist, appeared extremely happy and radiant as she entered the studio.
Talking to the show's host, she explained that she finds finally being comfortable at her age weird especially since she felt she needed to be older as a kid because she was already working.
"I always felt not my age and now I feel my age and I love it. It's comfortable," she added.
Barrymore first appeared on the big screen when she was just 6 years old, playing the delightful Gertie in the Steven Spielberg-directed, 1982 film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial." She then went on to star in various films and television series which included the successful "Charlie's Angels" franchise and blockbuster hits such as "Music and Lyrics" and "Blended."
In the funny interview with DeGeneres, Barrymore also shared that she was caught having, what she called the "middle-aged woman moment" when a police officer cited her for jaywalking while she was on her way to yoga class last year. The mom of two also took the opportunity to promote her new line of affordable eyewear by taking on various characters as she tried them on.
