As more and more superheroes enter the realm of TV, more people are starting to ask: will they crossover anytime soon? Oliver Queen and Barry Allen already banded together, and by the looks of it, the Flash might soon be hanging out with a Kryptonian that goes by the name of Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl.

"Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin from "The Flash" are featured on the cover of Variety flanking Greg Berlanti, the producer of both shows plus a slew of others, including "Arrow," "Legends of Tomorrow," "The Mysteries of Laura," and "Blindspot," as listed by Comicbook Movie.

The initial release of the trailer for "Supergirl" by CBS is yet to receive some love from the fans, and as Geek Tyrant reported, there have been a lot of complaints in the story portrayed in the six-minute video.

Alongside Benoist are Mechad Brooks, Calista Flockhart and Chyler Leigh, among others, as listed by Superhero Hype.

Of course, there is still much left to the speculative imagination of the fans of the comic books, but so far, with "Arrow" and "The Flash," fans have embraced the TV versions wholeheartedly. It is still up in the air if Kara will be just as accepted as her DC brothers.

It is quite the coincidence that Melissa Benoist and Grant Justin have previously worked together in "Glee," so if fate decides to shed light to this crossover, then working together would not mean a hard time for both.

Though the chance of all three superheroes converging into one episode is close to nil, the multitasking producer is not putting it out of the question, although specifying that it is going to take a lot of leg work for the people involved to say yes to that possibility.

"The Flash" is about to receive its climactic finale and is slated to return for season two. "Supergirl," on the other hand, will begin airing come fall, only on CBS.
