Country singer Luke Bryan took in his orphaned nephew, Tilde, to live with him and his wife Caroline in his home in Nashville. Tilden, 13, is the son of Luke's elder sister Kelly who passed away in 2007 while her husband, Ben Lee Cheshire, died unexpectedly last November. The couple had three children and Til is the youngest.

Now Bryan, his wife Caroline and their two children, are helping the children cope with the untimely demise of their parents. Bryan told ABC News. "You just have to plow on and play the hand that's dealt."
Bryan, who received the 2014 "Entertainer of the Year" award from the Country Music Association Awards, said that tragedy after tragedy struck his family just as he was starting his music career. It began when his older brother Chris died in a car accident in the late 90s and then followed by his sister Kelly who died in 2007 of unknown reasons. Both Bryan's siblings were very supportive of him causing him deep emotional turmoil after they died.
Bryan said that Til was so happy when he brought him along to the American Country Music Awards. He is also thankful that he could afford to fly Til's two older sisters to join them in their home in Nashville on a regular basis.
Bryan would always be on the phone to check on his nieces and he admits that it is not easy. According to the singer, it is always tough figuring out what is the right thing to do all the time. Bryan, who is always a positive thinker, says that everything is all part of God's plans.
Bryan says, "You know, we just stay positive. I think people expect that from me." He continues to say that he hopes to inspire people who are in a similar situation as himself. "I'm not saying it's easy," he said.
