Manchester City is reportedly preparing £40m for Liverpool striker Raheem Sterling, whose days at Anfield perhaps came to an end following his request to live the Reds at the end of this season.
Daily Mirror reported this week that Man City will try to lure the 20-year old goal machine and Young Player of the Season winner with a weekly salary up to £200,000, which is by far the highest paycheck the young striker would receive in his career.

Manchester City is expected to reload their roster by adding elite and up-and-coming footballers to take their firepower a notch higher for next season's campaign.
Sterling, who recorded 7 goals and 7 assists in 35 appearances during the 2014-15 season per Premier League Stats, drew the ire of Liverpool fans after asking the ball club's top honchos to let him walk away this offseason following a contract impasse.
"The Anfield club have offered £90,000-a-week but Sterling's representatives have complained privately they feel the club's hierarchy have gone on the offensive in the vacuum created by a failure to agree a deal, and that has turned the fans against their client," according to Mirror.co.uk.
Although Liverpool stressed they are going to play hard ball in dealing with Sterling's situation, football pundits believed it would be difficult for the Reds to turn down an enormous amount of offers for the disgruntled youngster.
Aside from Manchester City, Liverpool's rivals Chelsea and Manchester United have also expressed interest in acquiring Sterling, while European giants Real Madris and Bayern Munich could also consider bringing in the talented footballer.
