"50 Shades of Grey" is an erotic movie based on a book with the same name, and it tells the story of a college graduate and her relationship with a highly successful businessman. Both the movie and the book are notable for their erotic scenes that portray BDSM practices.
The instructor did try to defend herself, stating that she did not know what the movie was about.
The movie is scheduled for a sequel sometime in the near future, entitled "50 Shades Darker." TIME explained that the sequel will feature darker scenes and will be played more like a thriller than like a romantic drama, as how the first one was made.
Calling it a lack of judgment by the principal of Hampshire High School, who MTV said happened to pass by and noticed that the audio visual presentation that the kids were watching was not really that age appropriate. The school board then decided to suspend the troublesome teacher for the rest of the school year.
Although negatively criticized upon its initial release, "50 Shades of Grey" was widely popular in the box office and was widely attended to by the female demographic. Although riddled with controversies and scandals that pertain to the people involved, the movie already has a date for its sequel and is rumored to have an ensemble supporting cast.
Here is to hoping that by the time that the sequel is released, there will be no more ignorant teachers easily fooled by their students.
