Rockstar's parent company boss has admitted that he "misspoke" when he was talking about the Grand V Story DLC not been announced. On Tuesday, Strauss Zelnick, Take- Two Interactive CEO, was pretty much adamant that they had discussed any story concerning downloadable content. The CEO even went as far as arguing with an investor over this fact.

The truth is that his comments seemed rather bizarre. This is because Rockstar has in the recent past repeatedly made reference to the story DLC being released for the "Grand Theft Auto V" sometime in the future. It is said that Take- Two has also mentioned it a couple of times in their previous investor meetings.

However, according to a spokesman, Zelnick was misquoted. More than a year ago, Rockstar Games had made it clear that they were exploring the story mode content for the "Grand Theft Auto V" and the spokesman admitted it to Game Informer.

Nonetheless, no further information was provided. Therefore, it is quite hard to establish whether it was a mistake on the part of Zelnick or whether he was hiding the fact that they have change the plans of the game's story mode. Usually, it is more accurate to assume human error compared to conspiracy, as per reports by Game Spot.

During an investor meeting, the CEO revealed that the "Grand Theft Auto V" has currently shipped more than fifty two million copies throughout the world. Despite this impressive success, as a whole, Take- Two had made a total loss of $279.5 million. This is despite sales of more than $1 billion. The developer certainly need to increase their sales in order to post a profit, said reports.

Definitely, it might seem odd despite Rockstar's success, Take-Two finances have always been more than shaky and this is especially true in those years when a new version of "Grand Theft Auto" is not released.
