New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis, Memphis Grizzlies' Marc Gasol, and Houston Rockets' James Harden complete the lineup. It was the first time for Davis and Gasol to be named on the First Team.

James and Curry both got all possible 129 First Team votes. 2015 MVP runner-up Harden received 125 First Team votes, while Davis took 119 and Gasol had 68.

This is LeBron's ninth First Team appearance and eight straight in his 12-year career, which ties him with legends Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson, according to Yahoo Sports' Dan Devine. Only nine other NBA players have earned more First Team spots, namely Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Tim Duncan, Bob Cousy, Jerry West, Bob Pettit, and Elgin Baylor.

Meanwhile, it was Curry's first time on the First Team but second straight All-NBA appearance, as he was named in last year's All-NBA Second Team. Curry led the league-leading Warriors to a franchise-record 67 wins this season. He averaged 23.8 points and 7.7 assists per game while also leading the NBA in free throw percentage at 91.4 percent. This also marks the first time that a Warrior was included in the First Team since Latrell Sprewell was named in the '93-'94 season, according to ESPN.

The All-NBA Second Team includes Portland Trailblazer's LaMarcus Aldridge, Chicago Bulls' Pau Gasol, Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins, Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook, and Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul.

The All-NBA Third Team consists of Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan of the Los Angeles Clippers, Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors, and Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
