Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Release, Rumors, Features, Specs: 12-inch Tablet Coming Soon

Microsoft is expected to make an official announcement about the Surface Pro 4 release date and its specs at the BUILD 2015. Microsoft has also released driver updates for the other members of the Surface family - Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 2 - which will offer better support for the wireless display feature.

Surface Pro 4 is Microsoft's attempt to move into the league of hybrid micro controllers and devices. The Surface Pro 4 specs will sport chipsets from Broadwell or Skylake and not from Intel Haswell processors.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4, which can be purchased at an initial offering price of $999 for the 128 GB variant of the device and for $1,299 for the 256 GB variant of the device, will also be equipped with a 12-inch display screen and an N-Trig surface pen.

The users of Surface Pro 3 and Surface Pro 4 can benefit with driver updates for the time being while the Surface Pro 4 reaches the market while these devices are also witnessing a steep drop in their prices.

The latest updates for the laplet is centered on enhancing the audio and video drivers and also on offering support for Miracast wireless functionality, states Cross Map. These drivers will also be made mandatory for all the users who want to use Windows 10 on their devices.

The UEFI updates for Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3 will make a few changes to the devices, making the system compatible with the latest version of the graphics driver, according to reports by Digital Trends. It will also improve the HD Graphics family driver and improve the overall display of the device's screen, states The Latin Post.

As it is going to sport a mega 12-inches screen, so the enhancement in the display is certainly required and will be a boon for the users as they would be able to experience better quality and clarity.

The company, however, warned that not all the devices will be updated at the exact same time, but all the devices will get their updates eventually. Microsoft is known to roll out their upgrades in a gradual manner and this time it will be no different.
