The new iPad Air 3 is soon going to hit the market place and if rumors are to be believed, it is anticipated to be called as iPad 7 and will pack a lot of amazing features, which were not seen in Apple iPads' till now.

If the rumors are true, the iPad successor will sport a very sleek architecture, which is thinner than the previous versions while another speculation states that iPad Air 3 will be called an iPad 7 instead.

iPad 3 Air will include either an A9 chipset or an A9X chipset along with 32 GB storage and a 7-inch display screen. It will support 4G data services and will also be equipped with water proof and dust proof exteriors, states The Latin Post. The rumored display screen of the upcoming iPad Air 3 is much smaller than the previous iPad Air 2, which sported a 9.7 inch screen.

Currently, iPad can be bought in 7 different models - the original iPad, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 1, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3 and now the latest iPad Air 3, which is expected to have a 3D input stylus that will impart a better usability experience, notes Tech Radar. Apple is also rumored to be launching an iPad Pro soon, with a 12.9-inches screen. 

The latest flagship iPad is rumored to come in a size of 12-inches, equipped with a 4 GB RAM. Tech experts are hoping that the current model will ditch the 16 GB storage option and jump straight to the 32 GB storage option. They are also hoping to get back the silencing switch back with this model of iPad, along with the slow motion video option and the battery boost.

iPad Air 3, or the iPad 7, is also rumored to include the USB Type C connector which is also found in the latest model of MacBook, along with Force Touch technology and the Taptic Engine technology. iPad Air 3 is expected to provide tough competition to the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 tablet, which is also going to be released soon. It will be an outright tablet war of the technology giants and it will be interesting to see who scores and who loses!
