Tulisa Contostavlos Bans Journalists from Discussing Assault Case

Former 'X Factor' judge Tulisa Contostavlos refuses to discuss past the assault charges filed against her by renowned blogger Vas J. Morgan on her recent radio and TV tours in what seems to be a damage-limitation measure.
Tulisa Contostavlos' representatives banned journalists from broaching the topic about the assault case against the singer where she was found guilty for attacking said blogger at a festival last year. She also personally refused to discuss the matter in her interviews.

To cover up the issue, the English-Greek singer concentrated on talking about her attempt to commit suicide after she was charged of dealing Class A drugs following the entrapment that undercover journalist Mazher Mahmood orchestrated against her.
This measure was taken by others as Tulisa Contostavlos' way to gain the sympathy of the public after her drug trial was trashed by the court in July 21.
The decision of the 26-year old actress was addressed by the media outlets she'd had interviews with, including BBC's Radio 4.
Reporter Tom Bateman brought up the topic on her assault case, but later changed his question, asking about her image instead.
The singer also received the same kind of treatment when she appeared as a guest at ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' after her PRs said that she couldn't talk about the case for 'legal reasons'.
BBC was later criticized by Conservative MP Rob Wilson, saying that the network was 'appeasing a celebrity ego'.
Wilson reportedly said, "It is bizarre that the BBC's flagship news program chose to be so accommodating to Tulisa's PR team.
It would be unthinkable for the BBC to agree not to discuss the assault conviction of an MP or businessman because their PR manager asks for it not to be discussed."
Days after the singer's drug trial was nixed by the court, she was found guilty for assaulting Morgan who released her private sex video on his website in 2012.
The star continues to deny attacking the blogger, clearing her name, but was reportedly convicted for it and was fined a total of £3,020 which included £2,700 for the cost of prosecution, £100 to compensate Morgan and another £20 for victim surcharge.
