Leave it to Asa Butterfield, the frontrunner to be the newest Peter Parker, to confirm via a forum site that he can easily play the web-slinging hero.
Butterfield, renowned for his role in the cinematic wonder that is "Hugo" and the titular character in "Ender's Game," recently took it upon himself to confirm the different allegations about the new Spider-Man casting and comment onto Reddit that he would be great as the superhero.

Using the code name "Stimpers," Comicbook narrated how the young actor logged into the Web site and dropped a few comments, taking the comments humorously, like stating his actualy height now and how he is "down" in playing a bespectacled dweeb.
Butterfield has been reportedly confirmed as the next person to don the red and blue tights after Sony lent the character to Marvel. However, Cinema Blend recently reported that no offer has been made yet and that Butterfield is still being tried for the role; therefore, he is more likely a frontrunner.
Butterfield confirmed this as his Reddit username in a previous Ask Me Anything segment. However, "Stimpers" deleted the exchange.
Aside from Butterfield, four other actors have been shortlisted as possible Peter Parkers as showcased by Screenrant: Timothee Chalamet from "Interstellar," Tom Holland from "In The Heart of the Sea," Liam James from "The Killing," and Nat Wolff from "The Fault in Our Stars."
It is possible that since two studios are working together for the apparent marriage of Spider-Man to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it may take long before the world will get to see the web-head swinging with Tony Stark, Captain America, or Thor. Hopefully when it does happen, FOX will be willing to share the rights to the X-Men series as well so that the prayers of the fans will finally be answered.
