Aria Smart Watch Gets Awesome New Feature; Features Can Be Controlled By Gesture

According to Gadgetify, the new Aria band for smartwatch allows users to operate the watch by simply using hand gestures.
Thanks to the integrated technology, this band works like a wireless remote. Each time the hand makes a gesture, this remote interprets the signal and accordingly operates the watch. The Aria band is fitted with sensors that detect specific hand movements and accordingly interpret the signal. Gadget enthusiasts are calling it an accessory for an accessory. While the specific hand gestures need to be customized, possible options that wearers will have include tapping, flicking the fingers, and closing and opening the hand.

What is even more interesting is that users can customize the gestures using the companion app. The core purpose of the band is to give the wearer an enhanced Android user experience by minimizing the hassle of bothering about the operations.
Reports also indicates that the clip on band can be easily integrated with smartphones to further simplify the operations. Another news on Engadget confirms that this clip on band allows users to operate all the features of the smartwatch without actually touching it. This actually ensures that the smartwatch can be used even when the hand is busy performing other actions like eating, brushing, etc.
As of now, the designers have created two separate versions of this accessory named Pebble Time, which will be available for US$69 and Android Wear, priced at US$169.
Thanks to the latest technology, this band does not need a separate battery to operate. It links itself to the smartphone battery via the Bluetooth option. Additionally, the low battery consumption makes it a cost effective and extremely efficient option. This clip-on can reportedly control other gadgets like the iPhone and iPad apps; however, it is not compatible with the Apple smart watch. The size of the band ensures that it fits into any wrist very easily.
