Good news gaming fans as new updates for "Mortal Kombat X" have been released, regarding the launch date of the "Tanya" DLC and additional characters teased by Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon.

Gamespot has reported that "Mortal Kombat X's" new DLC will be about out in just a few weeks, possibly in early June, as the new DLC will feature the return of the Edenian warrior Tanya in the "Mortal Kombat" franchise.

Gamerant previously reported that Tanya is one of the four downloadable characters in "Mortal Kombat X," which includes the "Friday the 13th" slasher Jason Voorhees, Black Dragon member Tremor and the Predator from "Predator" film series.

In addition, several alternate costumes from eah characters in "MKX" such as Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile, Pharaoh Ermac, Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weathers as Jax was also revealed. Boon also took to Twitter to confirm that the new "Tanya" DLC will be available this coming June.

Aside from the DLC, Boon also teased other fighters for "Mortal Kombat X" besides the four DLC characters. Boon did not "rule out" the possibility of having older characters back in the game such as Sindel, Baraka, Smoke and Rain; even answering a question from a fan through Twitter, Bleeding Cool reports.

Lastly Boon teased that Blanche could be a "Brutality" finisher in the new DLC update, Vine Report wrote.

"The new DLCs will realize the players' clamor to make the old lady a stage brutality that will let them finish off opponents in style," Boon said.
