Microsoft aims to keep the focus of its latest developments on cross-platform programs and applications. This goal is well represented by its newest productivity program: OneClip, a universal clipboard app.
Essentially, OneClip is a cloud-based program allowing for easy pasting of data across various devices, regardless of the operating system the gadgets use. Through it, users can copy documents on their online clipboard without worrying about formatting and compatibility when accessing or transferring to a different device.

In simpler terms, OneClip allows people to share and store bits of text or an image in the Cloud, and retrieve them later for use on a different platform. For instance, whenever someone finds an interesting bit of news on his smartphone, but is unable to share it on Facebook because of compatibility reasons or such, he could simply save it on his online clipboard and retrieve it from his PC and share it from that device.
OneClip works best with just about any text format, but it also works great for images and even web clippings. In addition, the user can even customize it and organize the stored data into various categories, which allows them to easily keep track of their documents, especially when they need to quickly turn from one device to the next.
Unfortunately, while the app is already listed on the Windows Store, OneClip is currently undergoing internal beta testing. This means that, for now, only Microsoft employees could access the app and utilize whatever feature it has available. There are currently no news yet as to when this program will officially be released for public use.
Another significant Microsoft productivity app whose details have just recently been leaked is Office Now, an organizer that helps users manage their day-to-day activities more effectively. The program reportedly comes with handy features like scheduling, insights, and even organization and notification of back-to-back meetings.
According to Slashgear, the app could also come with a feature that sifts through the user's email and notifies said user about any changes in his daily schedule, such as cancelled meetings, rescheduled trips, and many others.
