Leave it to Kanye West to greet his wife a day late and still get showered with gratitude.

The Twitter account of Kanye West stayed particularly silent last Sunday, while his wife, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, expressed a flurry of pictures and greets, celebrating their one-year anniversary of becoming husband and wife. Yeezy kept mum, but one post was all it took to send butterflies into Kim's stomach.

Monday saw the "Heartless" singer tweet out a sweet message to his dear wife, addressing how he is enthralled to be married to the girl of his dreams. E! Online also quoted how the rapper expressed his love for Kim and their daughter, North.

In direct opposite to her husband, Kim started celebrating their anniversary since last Friday by throwing a flurry of throwback photos, including photos from different parties, their pre-wedding brunch wedding rehearsal, and even her bachelorette party, as reported by TIME.

Sunday marked the anniversary of the power couple, where the two had a grand wedding and said their "I Dos" in Florence, Italy.

After the message, Kim automatically expressed her gratitude by replying an equally sweet tweet to her husband.

A lot of congratulatory tweets have been sent to the couple, including the entire Kardashian clan. People Magazine reported that Kris Jenner, the Kardashian matriarch, posted a video via her Instagram account showing the couple dancing to John Legend's "All of Me" while being serenaded by the legendary singer himself.

Khloe, one of Kim's younger sisters, also explained in a post on Instagram how the two has evolved in just a year. She continued by stating how at peace the two looked when they are together and how they give her hope that there is still love in the world.

Hopefully, the couple enjoys many more anniversaries to come.
