Rumors about the impending release of an iMac 8K by the technological giant Apple are doing the rounds. LG Electronics unveiled these plans in a press release wherein it specified that Apple will be revealing another state-of-the-art product by the end of the year. It ought to be mentioned that till date there has been no confirmation by Apple regarding the latest state-of-the-art product.

In addition, LG also mentioned about Japanese test broadcast of 8K SHV consequent to restructuring the UHD devices in tandem with the 8K service demo by Korea at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. 

However, reports by Madd Apple suggest that LG Electronics only discussed about 8K being the future of display, unintentionally revealing Apple's developmental plans. The 8K display is a considerable development over other displays for it provides 7680 x 4320 pixels, which is about four times as that of a 4K display. It is said that the Quad Ultra High Definition resolution provides a resolution almost two times better than 4K display.

Apple Insider also clarified that the tech giant is known to maintain a suitable gap between the launch of various products. Thus in the wake of the launch of the 27-inch iMac with 5K display which offers 5120 x 2880 pixels in October last year, this revelation is completely unexpected. The new iMac 8K would offer an unprecedented experience to its users, said reports.

Further rumors allege that Apple maintains a reputation of impressive releases for its users; hence the revelation may not be completely false. The matter will only resolve when the product is actually released for sure by end of 2015. Until then Apple fans can only wait with bated breath for more details about the release and the specs of the device.

Interestingly, Apple made no comments about this incident and it is most likely that no confirmation or denial will be offered in the near future. According to reports, this apparent spilling of the beans by LG electronics also hints at the possibility of a partnership between the two giants; however, the unusual situation may be on the developmental fronts, which is said to be a win-win proposition for the consumers.
