Both Chicago-based NetherRealm Studios and California-based Warner Bros. did not make any statements regarding the sudden change in the game's release for PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles but gaming fans are eager to find out the reason very soon.
In other news, there is also a new upgrade for "Mortal Kombat X" in the mobile devices.
According to Touch Arcade, new upgrades were given in the mobile version such as the new "Raiden Challenge" mode, wherein players must finish several challenges in order to unlock the Thunder God Raiden as a playable character. The second change includes two new Kung Lao cards that allows players to play two versions of the Shaolin warrior in "MKX." Lastly, the new update was able to fix certain bugs found in the game and it will not give players a hard time navigating it in their smartphones or tablet devices.
It was previously reported that the Tanya DLC pack will be availble in early weeks of June as players can now control Tanya as a playble character, new character costumes, and a new "Brutality" finisher from NPC, Blanche.
"Mortal Kombat" creator Ed Boon also teased other playable characters in the series that are not part of the four DLC packs such as Baraka, Sindel, Smoke and Rain.
