Xavier Hernandez Creus, regularly known as Xavi, recently announced his official exit from his current club FC Barcelona. Xavi said that after his departure with Barcelona he will be linking with club Al Saad which is based in Qatar.
Xavi's 17 years of professional football career is decorated with 23 major titles earned while playing for Barcelona. He also won two European Championships and in 2010 helped the Spain national team to earn its first even World Cup trophy.

Upon hearing Xavi's transfer, David Villa paid his respects to his former Barcelona and current Spain teammate. Villa tagged Xavi as one of the best midfielder of all time, according to Daily Mail.
Villa said in an interview, "It's a joy to have been able to know him as a person for so long with the national team and for three years at Barcelona."
Xavi's exit match in Barcelona's home turf Camp Nou is history in the making. Xavi is set to play for the Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao. If Barcelona will win, the club will earn their second treble in its 115-year of existence. The club's first treble was won in 2009.
While Camp Nou is the stage for Xavi's final game for a Spanish tournament, his final fixture for Barcelona is set on June 6 where Barcelona will face Spanish Serie A club Juventus for the Champions League finals, according to South China Morning Post.
After declaring his exit from Barcelona, several international clubs showed great interest in acquiring Xavi. French football club Paris-Saint Germain has already stated their intention to loan the Spanish midfielder in case it signs with Al Sadd, according to caughtoffside.com.
Xavi has been hailed as not only one of the best footballers to be part of Barcelona's elite but also as part of the Spanish team that won the World Cup in 2010. Xavi is known for his ability to dictate the pace of the match through his unparalleled passing ability and awareness of the pitch.
