After being laid off by Chicago Bulls, Tom Thibodeau seemed to already make up his mind on what not to do next.

NBC Sports said Thibodeau has no plans on coaching the New Orleans Pelicans, Orlando Magic and Denver Nuggets.

They explained that it was reported that he refused to be part of the Pelicans because he believes that Anthony Davis would leave his team if he had the chance.

Davis, Pelican's Power Forward and Center, is under contract until next season and can leave the earliest in 2017.

They explained that Davis would probably be offered a max contract extension and will likely to stay with the Pelicans until 2021.

They said that the Pelicans should be probably concerned that Thibodeau, who was once a Team USA assistant coach, believes that Davis would leave when given a chance.

Jerry Reinsdorf, Bulls Chairman, said on the Chicago Bulls site that the decision to lay off the coach is made to ensure that the team continues to grow and succeed.

He explained that he values the contribution Thibodeau imparted in the organization and wishes him well in the future.

Gar Forman, Bull's General Manager, said that when the former coach was hired in 2010 he was right for the team and system of that time and over the last five years he had some success as their head coach.

However, when they evaluated the team they found out that a change in approach was necessary to ensure the team's growth.

He added that they are still on the lookout for a coach that would be a right fit, who can lead, who can communicate at a high level and had a great knowledge of the game.

According to the Bleacher Report, it had been reported that the former coach's relationship with the Bulls is beyond repair.

They explained that Thibodeau had struggled during the post season despite his impressive record of 255-139 during the regular season.

During Thibodeau's time, the Bull's also lost after Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2015 Eastern Conference Semi Finals.
