Kell Brook managed to retain his IBF welterweight title from Frankie Gavin in the sixth round of their match.

According to BBC, Brook and Gavin's fight was the first all-British welterweight world title fight.

They explained that the commitment showed by Gavin was questionable since he joined the professional ranks in 2009.

However, he was commended for being in shape before his world title challenge. He said that he would do everything he can to win the championship title.

According to Sky Sports, Brook was not troubled by Gavin's punches. In the first round, Brook's upper cut and straight right has sent his challenger on the ropes.

However, this didn't derail Gavin's need for the title. He made life tougher for Brook in the second round.

In the third round, Brook continued to defeat his title giving a right punch and an uppercut to his opponent.

The match ended in the sixth round with Brook landing another uppercut on Gavin and firing a straight shot to the chin.

Mail Online explained that the welterweight champion knew it would still be a challenge to defeat Gavin.

Brook explained that he believes in the talent of his opponent. He said that he told him how great of a boxer he is.

He said that he can't wait for his next fight and he's looking forward for his next match. He also said that he wants to take over the world and want to make a serious legacy.

On the other hand, Gavin assures the public that he is alright and he knew that he is strong and a very good boxer.

He said that he plans to go fight him once more. He explained that he is enjoying boxing and he has no regrets.

He was delighted that he fought the world title, fought with all his might and didn't disgrace himself.
