Spanish crooner Enrique Iglesias exhibits remarkable showmanship despite sustaining a bloody injury during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico. With a bandaged hand hidden behind his back, Iglesias continued to perform for a good 30 minutes in front of his 12,000 fans.
The concert was part of his "Sex and Love" world tour, where Iglesias serenaded the crowd in Plaza de Toros de Playas of Tijuana. To give his fans an up-close and personal shot, Iglesias grabbed the flying drone and accidentally caught a finger in the rotor. This resulted in a minor cut that smudged his white shirt with blood.

In a statement published by the Rolling Stone, Iglesias' publicist Joe Bonilla said that drones are typically used in the singer's concerts to get crowd shots. There are times when Iglesias would reach for the drone to provide a "point of view" shot. That night, however, had an unexpected turn and left Iglesias with a wounded hand.
According to a report by CNN, Iglesias smeared blood in the shape of a heart on his shirt to show his fans that the accident was no reason to stop the show. Bonilla even expressed his admiration via a tweet, "Another example of his professionalism!"
Members of the crowd took pictures and videos of the incident, where Iglesias is seen holding the drone in his two hands prior the mishap. Injured, he dropped the drone on the floor and wiped the blood on his shirt. Photos of the 40-year-old star are posted across social media.
His crew tried to stop the bleeding with a partial treatment and advised him to just end the concert. But he decided to keep on going and saw the concert to the finish amid the flow of blood.
Shortly after the show, Iglesias was rushed to the airport where he was met by an ambulance. He rode a plane to Los Angeles to have a specialist see and treat his injury. According to Yahoo! Singapore, Iglesias is on the road to recovery and is expected to have plenty of rest until the next leg of his concert in Mexico City on July.
