Joyce Cheng was asked about weight loss after she gained much weight lately. The 27-year old singer-actress responded to that, saying that she doesn't plan to lose weight until the day she plans for her own wedding.
The actress expressed that she was not going to subject herself under a full diet unless she has to wear a wedding gown. Joyce Cheng doesn't seem to worry about her physical appearance at all until she weds.

In the past, the daughter of Hong Kong showbiz veteran Lydia Sum reportedly weighed over 100 kg. She reduced her weight to 60 kg and said she will never lose weight for any guy while she was promoting her film in Singapore.
The actress strongly believes that men should not base their judgment of women on physical appearance and that she wouldn't want a boyfriend who complains about her weight.
During the event, the actress also congratulated Mark Ryan, her ex-boyfriend who is soon to become a father. "He's all grown up now!" the actress said.
Joyce Cheng said that she and Mark Ryan do not contact each other that much and has only learned of the news regarding the actor through tabloid news. The actress claims that they didn't have any mutual friends either.
Joyce Cheng ended her five-year relationship with the English actor in 2012. Rumors had it that Joyce Cheng began seeing Korean model Ah Jin during that time and was the reason for her breakup with Mark Ryan.
However, the then couple clarified those rumors. Mark Ryan said before that he wants to make further accomplishments in life so as not to be misunderstood that he was only after the actress' assets. On the other hand, Joyce Cheng was just starting her music career then.
When asked when she was going to be married, Joyce Cheng replied, "I don't know yet, but I'll take things naturally," adding that she isn't in a rush to tie the knot.
