It is common knowledge among "Swifties" and "Katy Cats" that Taylor Swift has some 'bad blood' with singer Katy Perry, and because she is friends with Ellie Goulding and Lorde, everyone expects these two friends to be on Swift's side.

It appears however, that Goulding might have gotten herself in the middle of Swift and Perry's feud. Earlier this month, the British singer posted an Instagram photo of herself with Lorde and, shockingly, Katy. Of course this caused Swift fans to get their tongues rolling over the weekend, and when Goulding, 28, deleted the photo, more comments over the deletion started pouring in.

It's not only Goulding who shared the photo, Lorde also shared the photo but deleted it later like Goulding, according to Cosmopolitan. In the photo, Ellie was partying with Perry and Lorde, reported Yahoo!

"Don't really remember this but ... good times [dancing flamenco girl emoji]," she wrote. Goulding may have deleted the Instagram shot as soon as it was uploaded, but nothing ever really gets deleted on the internet.

Because the 28-year-old deleted the now controversial photo, everyone quickly assumed that the "Burn" singer's reason is because of her friendship with T Swift, as well as the fact that she starred in Swift's latest "Bad Blood" music video, which everyone speculates is about Swift's feud with Perry.

For her part, Goulding said the rumors aren't true, and that it wasn't because of Perry and Swift's drama that she deleted the photo, according to Fox. She said that she just looked wasted in the picture and she just had to delete it, reported Bustle.

"Ohhh, I deleted that because I looked bad in it," explained Goulding,

"And I think I was a bit drunk. And I thought it wasn't a very good example of myself. That's so funny that um, that's even a thing. No, I delete things all the time!" she told OD Entertainment.

"I think I have so many followers ... that when I delete something it's a big deal. I delete photos of myself all the time. I post them and then I'm like, 'No, I don't look very good. Delete,'" she continued. "I'm great friends with Katy, I'm great friends with Taylor. That's very silly ... I zoomed in on my actual photo, and I was like, 'No.' I was a bit drunk."

It appears that Goulding has been the subject of much rumors as of late. It was rumored that Ed Sheeran's song "Don't" was about her and One Direction's Niall Horan. She said, swearing, that she never dated Sheeran, therefore the song could not possibly be about her.
