After "Running Man's" guests, BigBang, took hold of the last episode, the next episode preview certainly got its fans excited. In the coming episode, an old player comes into the scene. This would be none other than Song Joong Ki.

Song Joong Ki used to be part of the "Running Man" gang but had to leave the show due to conflicting schedules with his dramas and not to mention he had to enlist to the army after. Well, soon after finishing his enlistment with the Korean Army, Joong Ki is back in the fray.

The actor stars in a new drama with Song Hye Kyo, "Descendants of the Sun." Speaking to AllKPop about the latest drama, Joong Ki is quite excited and pleased.

"I thought a lot about a day I could do a script reading like this and a wrap party while I was in the military. Thank you so much for doing this with me and I will put in all my energy," stated Joong Ki.

While it may seem that Joong Ki has not had time to rest since leaving the military, it is quite the opposite. In the earlier days of June, Soompi reports that he along with Jo In Sung and Lee Kwang Soo had scheduled a vacation together. Details of the said vacation was not released to the media.

"Because they have left for a personal break, it is difficult to reveal their plans for the trip or the destination," stated the agencies of the three actors to the media.

Well, it looks like Joong Ki along with Jo In Sung are set to meet up once again with Kwang Soo. The two along with Im Joo Hwan will make a surprise appearance on the upcoming episode of "Running Man." Joining the trio on the show is Haha's wife, Byul, who swears to get revenge on her husband in the missions. Kim So Hyun and Son Joon Ho also join the upcoming special.

As for Joong Ki, this is his third special on the show since leaving "Running Man" from episode 41. Check out the special teaser for the June 14 episode of "Running Man" below.
