When Xiaomi Corp launched a smartphone in New Delhi this year, there is no mistaking about its ability to conquer, not only Asia, but the whole world. According to The Wall Street Journal, Xiaomi sold 40,000 units in just 15 seconds, not to mention the thousands who lined up outside the venue where it was launched, in hopes of availing one. Xiaomi's Chief Executive Lei Jun was so confident about the product that he declared Apple and Samsung as "Gone," where smartphones are concerned. While the statement made the Chief Executive a little bit over-confident, it might be the best reaction where numbers are concerned, said reports.

While their Asian market embraced the brand, its opening in the western part of the world was a bit more modest and lacking of organization, nevertheless, the brand still held the position as one of the fastest growing smartphone manufacturers in the whole world, compared to other smartphone companies that are just starting up.
In 2014, Xiaomi's bold move to sell full featured phone made sure that rivals will feel the effect. Samsung even took a hard beating causing them to reconstruct their marketing trend. Where prices are concerned, Xiaomi's 64GB Mi Note Pro costs 2,999 Yuan while Apple's 64GB iPhone 6 costs 6,088 Yuan and Samsung's Galaxy S6 32GB for 5,288.
Lei's huge vision of conquering the world with his brand was accompanied by a statement saying, "China is no longer about cheap manufacturing and copycats. Xiaomi's mission is to change the world's view of Chinese products."
On Thursday, according to BBC, Xiaomi unveiled their two flagship phablets that aims to compete with Apple's iPhones. Xiaomi's phablets had a 6.95mm thickness and weighs only 161g, making it less against the iPhone 6 Plus, yet sporting glorious features everyone seeks in a phablet. While Xiaomi's feature was nothing of a breakthrough compared to Apple and Samsung, it was the brand's price that made the difference.
Xioami's other products include routers, television sets and smart wristbands that are registered as their own design. Despite this, their smartphones sells the most and their efforts to conquer the world is just beginning.
