Last Saturday, the video began to circulate widely on the link-sharing site Reddit. As recently the whole world is intensely focused on the situation of Egypt, the video is likely generating more attention than it was posted in last October. During the video, Ahmed condemns the influence of religion in government, wealth disparity and lack of women's rights. In regards to the new constitution Ahmed says, "What is built in falsehood is false itself. Even if the constitution is nice, if the assembly that drafted it is bad, we will end up with something bad." Wall Street Journal comments, for the people who don't quite understand the situation in Egypt, the video is a good introduction.

Since thousands of Egyptian people demonstrated in the street of Egypt in June, turbulence in Egypt is continuing. According to Los Angeles Times, on July 8th, a camp of Morsi's supporters was under attacked. The Brotherhood said 37 people had been killed, including five children, and 500 wounded. The Associated Press quoted an official with the Egyptian Health Ministry as saying that at least 34 were dead and 300 wounded. Earlier, an Army official said that at least five people were slain when they stormed a military building.
