What does it take to survive in Mars? Matt Damon shows the world how to live for four years in the first trailer for Ridley Scott's newest film, "The Martian."
Based on the book with the same name by Andy Weir, the movie tackles the story of Mark Watney, portrayed by Matt Damon, who is stranded on the red planet after a storm forces his crew to evacuate.

The trailer shows how the movie will tackle surviving on Mars, and how Mark Watney used science to survive. In fact, the Daily Mail UK recalls the recent talks of putting a human colony on Mars, which according to NASA, the planet is actually a very ideal place to put a greenhouse, since the neighboring planet has plenty of similarities to earth, including the sun's solar energy that plants need to survive.
Relying heavily on the scientific accuracy as depicted by the author, the soon to be released science fiction epic is not holding back on the intensity, despite the overwhelming odds stacked against the protagonist.
The trailer shows Watney contacting NASA and his old crew, whom the Sydney Morning Herald lists as a stellar cast: Jessica Chastain, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, and Kristen Wiig - both attempting their own rescue missions to save the man on Mars. Despite the serious acting of Wiig and Glover, who both have had a step at comedy with TV shows like "Saturday night Live" and "Community" respectively, there is a touch of wit in the lines of Damon when he screams one liners such as ""I'm going to science the s--t out of this" and "In your face, Neil Armstrong!"
With I4U calling it the must see sci-fi movie of the year, the trailer shows promising potential for the movie, showing how the character will rely on his ingenuity, spirit, and wit to survive despite the meager supplies he has on hand, like Bear Grylls, but in outer space. "The Martian" will hit the big screen on November 26.
