Demi Lovato and long-time boyfriend Wilmer Valderama will be working together in the upcoming season finale of the supernatural horror series "From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series," which is on its second season, according to Just Jared.

It remains unclear what role exactly Lovato, 22, will be playing in the dark series, but it is confirmed that she will be joining the show as seen on photos on her Instagram account.

In one of the photos that captured some behind-the-scenes action in the show, she is seen giving Valderrama a smooch on the cheek.

"After a long night's work...#fromdusktilldawn," she captioned the photo. "Me and the boss @rodriguez.... We worked #fromdusktilldawn.... Get it??"

The rest of the cast of "From Dusk Till Dawn" includes Danny Trejo, Briana Evigan, Esai Morales and Jeff Fahey. The series is built from its predecessor, a 1996 film that starred George Clooney, according to The Business Standard. 

On the same social media platform, the "Skyscraper" hitmaker could not hide her affection for Valderrama after the former "That '70s Show" actor posed shirtless for the El Rey series.

"Are you f--king kidding me?!! I'm so in love it's ridiculous," she captioned the Instagram snapshot.

Valderrama responded to the photo by telling E! at the 2015 ATX TV Festival in Austin, "That was very unexpected! When I read Demi's post, I was very flattered and I turned red again. But it was very sweet."

"It was a little embarrassing! I've never done that before. I've never done that in my career really, where I've done the shirtless picture of it all. I was a little embarrassed, I was a little bashful about it, but Robert [Rodriguez] gave me that nod of, 'Trust me, it's going to be fine. Cool lighting, the torch in the back, everything's going to be fine!'" he added.

Valderrama also shared how he got in shape for the scene, which is reportedly his first.

"The truth is to look that way you have to eat a lot and work out really hard. I wasn't trying to look like a model when I did that, I wanted to look like someone who could actually really be a threat to the rest of the cast," shared Wilmer.

Despite the adorable photo of the two behind the scenes as shared by Lovato, "From Dusk Till Dawn" is going to be dark, reported E! Online.

"It's darker. It's going to be a little more twisted...Every character will go through their own personal hell," Valderrama told E!

The darker season of the series "From Dusk Till Dawn" debuts August 25 on El Rey Network.
