'Devil's Third' Release Date Confirmed On August 2015 For The Wii U; New Gameplay Trailer Streamed Online [VIDEO]

According to reports from Hardcore Gamer, "Devil's Third" will be released on Aug. 4, 2015 in Japan for the Nintendo Wii U. The website further adds both Valhalla and Nintendo will also launch "Devil's Third" in the western region in the same month.

GameFly reported that "Devil's Third" will launch on Aug. 28 in North America and in Europe due to the place holder that put into the website.
Nintendo U.K. posted a tweet on their Twitter page confirming that "Devil's Third" will indeed be arriving in the Europe on Aug. 28, Eurogamer reported.

Aside from the launch date, Valhalla Game Studios also posted a 10 minute gameplay video featuring the game's creator Tomonoobu Itagaki. Itagaki was known for his work on video game titles such "Dead Or Alive" and "Ninja Gaiden" franchises when he was still working with Team Ninja and Tecmo.

Despite the video not having any English subtitles, the footage features some intense and brutal combat from "Devil's Third," as players can fight in variety of ways such gun-shooting or sword play like any typical hack-and-slash video game.
"Devil's Third" will cost around 6,700 yen (USD $54) in the Wii U console and it will feature multiplayer gameplay, IGN reported.
Stevivor.com has also provided a back story for "Devil's Third." The game is set on a post-apocalyptic world and player's assume the role of Ivan, a former mercenary that was incarcerated for life. He was released one day and vows retribution against a terrorist group that he was once joined into, in order to correct his past mistakes.
With the world's satellites and electrical weaponry wiped out, Ivan must rely on his experience and years of combat training to fight them in a brutal and bloody fashion.
Polygon reported that "Devil's Third" was originally developed THQ for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. THQ eventually returned the rights to Valhalla and they announced that the game will be a Wii U exclusive during last year's E3 2014 event.
