"The Five" co-host Bob Beckel had a nasty thing to say about Andi Dorfman of "The Bachelorette".

In a live broadcast of the show last Tuesday, Beckel called Dorfman a "sl*t" after it was revealed that the reality show star had sex with runner-up Nick Viall before choosing Josh Murray as the man she wanted to be with.

The sexual encounter was revealed in the "After the Final Rose" special of the reality show.

Viall answered the question on everyone's minds - yes, he had sex with Dorfman in the Fantasy Suite.

"If you weren't in love with me, I'm not sure why, like, why you made love with me," Viall shared, a vulnerable statement which showed the runner-up's heartbreak over her choice.

Without hesitation, Beckel commented on "The Five", "She's a sl*t! I'm not kidding. She sleeps with someone else, and then doesn't tell the guy about it. This is what America's come to, this crap."

Andrea Tantaros, Beckel's co-host and apparent "The Bachelorette" fan, was taken aback by Beckel's sexist remark, and accused Beckel of sleeping "with a different woman every night".

Although Tantaros probably wasn't alone in her disgust over Beckel's comments, co-host Greg Gutfield defended Beckel's statement, saying that "The Bachelorette" showed Dorfman making out with different men every day and that she shouldn't be surprised if people had something to say about that.

According to Gutfield, Beckel had a right to his opinion, since Dorfman allowed people to make judgments on her when she allowed her intimate moments with different men to be filmed on camera.

At the end of the Tuesday episode of "The Five", Beckel apologized for calling Dorfman a "sl*t", but had a backhanded, quite witty, way of saying it.

Beckel stated, "I want to apologize for a word I used in that Bachelorette segment, that woman who slept with two guys. Well, maybe it was more than two, I don't know."
