The restaurant is located in a quieter part of Kowloon where it is easy to find and is an ideal place for a high-end oyster bar. Oystermine has since been getting good feedback from customers.

In 2011, the actor also invested in a Malaysia-based restaurant called Overtime. It was a business venture he had opened with his friends, but he later pulled out his shares.

However, opening his own restaurant didn't seem to be an easy task for the 33-year old actor.

"I brought trouble upon myself," Bosco Wong said, considering the details of his business prior to its opening. The Hong Kong based actor who is also expanding his business to mainland China has shared the difficulties of dealing with the nitty-gritty from choosing furnishings to deciding what to put on the menu.

The actor also has to attend meetings with his employees, particularly the chefs hired for the oyster bar, and likened it to filming another series again after a long day.

Bosco Wong has shared his joys when cooking and hopes to become a chef in the past. He has been investing a lot of time and effort on his business which has a plethora of competition and belongs to such an erratic industry. The business may be demanding, but the actor expressed his desire to succeed.

Despite the difficulties the actor is facing, juggling filming and managing his own business, it was still a dream come true for him as he had wished to have his own restaurant since he was young.
