"Call of Duty: Black Ops III" was originally announced for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC; however, publisher of the game, Activision, made it clear that the new shoot-em-up will also come to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
This hasn't gone down well with fans from around the world as they feel it might hamper the experience on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. They believe it is high time for Activision to move away from the old and focus squarely on the new.

The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of the game will have all the same features, but some will be limited. For example, it is possible to play through the campaign with 4-players via multiplayer co-op; however, with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the title, only 2-player multiplayer co-op is supported.
As for the Nintendo Wii U, there are no plans at the moment to release the game on that platform.
"There will also be some other features and functionality built specifically for the new generation of consoles that cannot be supported on Xbox 360 and PS3," Activision says, without noting specifics. And for those Nintendo fans holding out hope, the publisher also explains that "there's no version of Call of Duty: Black Ops III for Nintendo Wii U planned."
Another thing, the game's multiplayer beta will only be available for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Folks with older consoles will definitely miss out here, so maybe it is high time for an upgrade.
Probably the main reason for Activision to support the old consoles is to earn some extra cash. The old consoles still have millions of users, and they are still selling pretty well, so it would be suicide to walk away from such large pool of users.
"Call of Duty: Black Ops III," is expected to be released on November 26 on all the main and minor platforms.
