After its blockbuster success, "Kingsman" director Matthew Vaughn is planning to give the movie a sequel, as well as adding an American actor to its very British cast.

After becoming a massive success in the box office, with Screen Rant reporting an income of $128 million in the domestic market and $400 million internationally under an $81 million budget, director Matthew Vaughn is seriously considering a sequel to the comic book adaptation.

The sequel is reportedly being written by the director as of press time, and Rope of Silicon reports that he plans to add an American in the British roster of secret agents. However, there is the clause that the script should be good enough of a script before they actually start production.

The movie is an adaptation from the comic book "The Secret Service" created by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, which is not even a comic book franchise on its own. The comic book channels classic spy films with the likes of "James Bond."

The additional American agent is not the only thing Vaughn wants in the movie. Highly sartorial Harry Hart, played the ageing but ever dashing Colin Firth, died in the movie, and if the director wishes to put go with "Kingsman 2" Cinema Blend reports that Vaughn will bring back the character, given that it will receive similar reception as the first movie did.

Overall, a sequel might not be so bad for "Kingsman," however it is sort of tall order to bring back Harry Hart into the fray, given that he was already killed by the main antagonist, Valentine. However, should it be done meticulously and as beautiful as the first movie, then fans will not have a problem receiving the upcoming sequel, given that it carries the same air as "Kingsman," perhaps even more.
