After a surprising Catalunya Grand Prix Qualifying session on Saturday topped by both Team Suzuki Ecstar riders, Jorge Lorenzo believes his teammate Valentino Rossi will come to fight for the victory on Sunday.

He remains concerned for what could be the outcome for tomorrow's race, as he has to face the most successful rider this circuit in Valentino Rossi, who pipped him for the win in 2009. Although he has qualified at the front of the grid in 3rd while his teammate was in 7th, Lorenzo expects "The Doctor" to fight for the victory because of the latter's strong consistent pace on this track.

But Lorenzo was always confident in his ability to start the race and dictate the pace from the get-go. With his team working pretty well, he is gunning for another successive win.

With regards to their rivals Repsol Honda, Ducati Corse and now the up-and-coming Team Suzuki Ecstar riders, he thinks that Marc Marquez has the best pace among them and is certainly capable of bringing the fight to him, though he's not ruling out Andrea Iannone to come up with a good race too.

Team Suzuki Ecstar banked on the advantage of using the soft rear tyre in Qualifying to get their best time in the race, placing them 1st and 2nd on the grid. But Jorge is still confident that they are going to be fine for tomorrow's race, despite using normal tyres.

Still, the two-time MotoGp World Champion applauded the improvement of Suzuki this season, as he thinks the bike is improving a lot in every race. He observed it while he followed Aleix durng the practice session that the bike seemed very stable and have a lot of traction on the exit of the corner.

During the warm-up on Sunday, Jorge is planning to prepare a last minute improvements, checking some small details which could help him during the race. He is pleased with the efforts they are doing but he needed to work more on the set-up of the M1 to make it stable especially in the latter part of the race when the tyre starts dropping.
