After almost two years and one hit song later, Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo have called it quits.

The former "Jonas Brothers" member broke it off with the former Ms. Universe after admitting that it took to much effort being in a long-distance relationship with the beauty queen, reported ET Online. He said he is sad, but all is well, since the ex-couple are not only both busy and young, but also enjoying life, albeit separately.

Rumors of the couple splitting have been circulating for months, and Perez Hilton claimed that the last time they have been seen out together was during the 2015 Billboard Music Awards held way back in May. Currently, they are both in New York but are unfortunately staying in separate rooms. Jonas was even seen dining and going around New York City all by his lonesome.

The couple first met during the 2013 Miss USA Competition, and the rest, as they say, is history. So historical in fact that Nick Jonas recently admitted that the song "Jealous" was about one time that he and Culpo went out and some guy was eyeing her. Instead of lashing it out and causing trouble, hewent to the studio and wrote a song about her, which became a hit.

There are also reports that claim that the two are as strong as ever. Xpose reported that the two have not broken up and that they are simply experiencing the normal ups and downs of any relationship. The report also said that their foundation is as strong as ever, and they are still in love.

Whether the couple have called it quits or not, it is a fact that two looked good with each other. Whatever decision both parties decide on, the important thing is that they are happy, and whatever happened between them made them grow as individuals. If not, the fans always have "Jealous" to remind them of an extremely beautiful celebrity pairing.
