Korean Actor Lee Min Ho Says He Is A Fan Of Chinese Actor Jackie Chan; Find Out The Actress Cast Opposite Him In 'Bounty Hunters'

Popular South Korean actor Lee Min Ho said that he grew up watching Chinese actor Jackie Chan's movies. The actor admitted that while attending the press conference in Shanghai, China, for his upcoming movie, "Bounty Hunter."

"I like Jackie Chan. I grew up watching him," KDrama Stars quoted Min Ho when asked about his favorite actor. Min Ho attended the press conference with his co-star Wallace Chung and director Shin Terra.

The actor also talked about the challenges that he is likely to face while doing his first action comedy. The report quoted him as saying, "This is a clever and reckless martial arts character, it is a challenge because it is my first action comedy."

Min Ho added that it was an honor to work with "excellent actor and China's top star," and he expected to learn a lot, while co-star Wallace was hoping to become friends with the Korean actor. Wallace said that many women are going to become jealous of him because he was co-starring with Min Ho.  

Meanwhile, Hong Kong actress Karena Ng has been cast opposite Min Ho. She is playing the role of a computer expert. Yahoo has quoted Karena as saying that she does not have action sequence in the action-comedy movie. She was excited to be able to "go to different locations for the shoot, and learn more about different cultures." Also the actress was looking forward to working with Min Ho and revealed that she has seen his movies and dramas.

Karena, however, is not playing the lead female role. According to reports, an actress from mainland China is expected to be roped in for the main role. The name of the actress has been kept under wraps, and there is likely to be another press conference to announce that.

The production on "Bounty Hunters," which is said to be one of the most expensive movies, is expected to begin in August, and it will be filmed in China, Thailand, South Korea, and Hong Kong. Hong Kong's Pegasus Motion Pictures, South Korea's Starhaus Entertainment, and Shanghai's Harmonious Entertainment are on board as producers.
