Former Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt has shared his thoughts about the chances of tennis' Big Four (Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray, and Rafael Nadal) in the upcoming grand slam tournament at SW19. Hewitt backed Federer and Murray to take home the title in this year's edition of the Wimbledon Championships.

Hewitt, who won the 2002 Wimbledon, believes that Murray has a great chance of winning a second title at the All England Club following the Briton's impressive campaign during the claycourt season where Murray won two titles at BMW Open and Mutua Madrid Open. The 34-year-old two-time Aussie grand slam champion said via UK's Mirror that Murray is an opponent that will be tough to beat.
Murray improved second serve could be the key to claiming another Wimbledon title, according to Hewitt. He said that the British No. 1 has been able to defend his second serve against the big hitters on tour.
Federer is also another player who will be tough to beat at Wimbledon, Hewitt added. However, he is not ruling out Djokovic, who was the winner last year, to succeed at SW19 this season.
"Novak's obviously great on everything, but I think Andy and Roger are the two that stand out with the surface," Hewitt lamented.
Federer has won Wimbledon seven times. The Swiss tennis ace has the most number of wins on grass court in the Open Era. In the stats compiled by ATPWorldTour.com, Federer has an 87.3 percentage of grasscourt wins all throughout his impressive tennis career.
Murray, on the other hand, has done incredibly well on his home turf. He has an 83 winning percentage on grasscourt surfaces. He won the Wimbledon title in 2013. He is also a three-time champion at the Aegon Championships, which is also played on grass courts.
As for Nadal, a two-time Wimbledon champion, Hewitt said that a question mark hangs over the Spaniard's chances in the grand slam tournament. He said that Nadal hasn't really been playing well on grass and at Wimbledon. Nadal has a winning percentage of 78.2 on grass surfaces. Last year, he suffered a shocking fourth-round defeat to then 144th-ranked Nick Kyrgios at the said tennis event.
