This is in connection with the worsening condition of Ebola outbreak in the said areas with current death tolls 339 in Guinea, 233 in Sierre Leone, and 156 in Liberia.

Last Thursday, CDC declared that Liberia's public health infrastructure is already "severely strained" and violence against aid workers were already experienced.

Aside from issuing the warning for the benefit of the general public, CDC also assists in preventing sick travellers from getting on planes through active screening and educating them.

Screening of passengers includes evaluating of passengers before arrival and those who are sick undergo investigation and quarantine.

Government officials of severely affected regions are going extensive measures to contain and help prevent the outbreak.

Ernest Bai Koroma, Sierra Leone's President, declared quarantine in areas affected by disease, prompted search in houses of infected people, restricted public meetings, and continued screening of passengers at the main airport.

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Liberia's President, announce that schools will be closed and that markets along the borders will be shut down and all public facilities be disinfected and chlorinated.

Government officials together with the World Health Organization discussed and laid out plans in combating the Ebola virus.

Manpower in the affected areas are also depleting as Anja Wolz said, from Doctors Without Borders.

There were two cases where CDC issued the same Level 3 Travel Warning to the public, one was in connection with SARS outbreak in Asia and the other was on the Haiti Earthquake Event.
