There might have been a change of plans regarding David Tao and Penny's wedding. It has been reported that they already had a mini wedding party somewhere in the Philippines.
The couple just announced that they will be having their wedding banquet at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel by the end of the month in Taipei but the mini wedding party outside of the country was for the 'younger guests'.

David Tao, a Taiwan-based singer, is a Christian and has lived overseas most of his life. He did not have any second thoughts of holding the event in the Philippines amidst the start of the lunar month last Sunday. Sources say that the event consisted of a small number of close family members and friends.
Aside from the wedding itself, the couple is said to be having their wedding photo shoot in the Philippines as well. They told the media that the photos and the video of the mini wedding party will be shown on the 31st of August during their wedding banquet to be held at Taipei.
However, when his manager was asked about the said event, she said that it was not true and that they are still trying to follow the earlier issued schedule. She adds that there are no wedding pictures and no invitations were given out yet. However, she assured that she will be releasing a statement for everyone who is asking about Tao's wedding.
Reporters also asked Penny's family and the only answer they got was that the photo shoot will be held overseas but her brother did not confirm if it was indeed in the Philippines.
David is 45 years old and his bride-to-be is 28 years old.
David was also rumored to have married Jian Baoshan, a model, but divorced afterwards. He is known for making his relationships very private and low-key.
