After rumors about Jennifer Lawrence and beau Nicholas Hoult calling it quits had gone viral, the 23-year-old actress may have just sparked up another bout of buzz as she was recently seen wearing a diamond ring.

According to the New York Daily News, the "Hunger Games" actress was spotted in Los Angeles with a ring on her "that all-important finger" while doing a photo shoot for Vanity Fair. The date was not disclosed.

Photos of Lawrence were also posted by the Daily Mail during a photo shoot in Los Angeles last Tuesday, although the website did not make it known as to what publication the shoot was for.

Nonetheless, a diamond ring was spotted on her left ring finger.

The Oscar-winning actress has already sparked engagement rumors in the past when she was first seen with a ring on the same finger last November when she did the press event for Catching Fire, the second installment of The Hunger Games franchise.

Lawrence was also spotted last April with a turquoise ring on her left finger while spending time with Hoult.

In London, the actress snubbed the paparazzi when asked about the turquoise ring and, later on, denied that she was engaged.

These past weeks, rumors have been going around that she and Hoult stopped going out; the actor had reportedly broken up with Lawrence due to her "exploded ego" and "obsession" with Hollywood.

According to a source for TheFIX, Hoult did not like how the actress has become hooked on fame. "They are still talking, but Nicholas is moving on."

The site, however, mentioned how Lawrence has sought to win back her British beau.

The pair began dating in 2011 when they met each other on the set of "X-Men: First Class".

The couple had called it quits in February of 2012 but began seeing each other again after six months while filming "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
