According to White House spokesperson, Josh Earnest, there is a difference between how Hamas penetrates Israel and how Israel defends their country.
He added that the shelling of a UN-run school where innocent civilians are temporarily sheltered is totally unacceptable and totally indispensible.
With that incident, it reflects that Israel need to do more to level up the high standards that they themselves set.
Israel government defends that its operation in Gaza is to defend from the country from the attacks of militants.
For them, the Hamas militant groups are the ones responsible for the deaths in the city.
According to a senior Israeli official, they had already neutralized 70-80% of Hamas' tunnel network into the country and that they will stop its operation until all tunnels have been destroyed.
Extensive networks of tunnels have been discovered by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) which were used by infiltrators to kill Israeli soldiers.
Discovery of these tunnels bolstered the Israelis in launching a full operation of destroying these.
For the record, 1,422 Palestinians were killed since Israel began its offensive operation in 8th of July.
Mark Regev, spokesman of Israeli government, stated that if it was indeed proven that they are the ones responsible for the shelling of the refuge center, they will apologise.
He stated with conviction that they have a policy not to target civilians.
Navi Pilay, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, believed that world powers should be able to hold someone accountable for all the killings that are happening in Gaza and not to allow impunity to go on.
For Humanitarian Chief Baronness Valerie Amos, there is no safe place in Gaza.
With the condition of violence and firing in Gaza, death tolls are expected to rise.
